We accept BCBS PPO, Cigna, Aetna, UHC and ISU Student Health insurance and will bill your insurance provider for sessions. You are responsible for your copay at the time of service. All major credit cards are accepted as forms of payment.
DBT Institute of Central Illinois is a doing business as (DBA) name of New Path Psychological Services. All insurance contracts and provider credentialing are under the legal entity New Path Psychological Services.
If you contact your insurance company and ask about DBT Institute of Central Illinois, they may incorrectly tell you that we are out of network because that name is not listed in their provider directory. To verify your benefits accurately, please ask your insurance company about New Path Psychological Services or your specific provider's name.
Insurance and Supervising Provider Information
Some of our clinicians provide services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist or therapist while they complete licensure requirements or while their individual insurance credentialing is in progress.
If you are scheduled with one of these clinicians, your therapy will be provided by the clinician you are seeing, but insurance claims may be submitted under the supervising provider's National Provider Identifier (NPI), as permitted by your insurance plan and applicable regulations.
If you contact your insurance company to verify your mental health benefits, please use the supervising provider's name and NPI listed below rather than your treating clinician's name. This allows your insurance company to accurately verify your coverage.
Your therapist will remain your primary treating clinician, and the supervising provider is responsible for clinical oversight and supervision.
